We are the Villages German Band and have been playing lively Bavarian-style folk music in the area for more than a dozen years.   

The band usually performs 1-2 performances every few month until the arrival of Oktoberfest season--that's when the calendar fills with bookings.  That's because it is a great time for many clubs and organizations to celebrate  the traditional beer festival that began a few hundred years ago in Munich!

There are a dozen or more musicians in the band, and they enjoy entertaining audiences. There’s nothing they like more than festive crowds who clap and sing along with them!  It's especially fun when polka dancers “take to the floor”or form a conga or polka line that weaves around the room.

A common thread among the musicians is their love of playing folk music from Bavaria and other countries who share the Alps. Playlists typically include music from Southern Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovenia—and even on occasions from the United States!
